Day 1 We took the shuttle bus up the canyon and stopped at the weeping wall then up to the end of the road. We took the trail back following close to the road.
Day 2 we take the shuttle bus up to the trail head of Angels Landing.
Day 3 We bicycled the shuttle bus route and took our time along the route. Most people can't drive up this route except those that are staying at the lodge so we basically had the road to ourselves. It's seven miles up and seven miles back.
Day 4 The Narrows. The end of the road where the shuttle bus turns around is the easy trail up the Narrows. When the canyons closes in you must wade to proceed on up the canyon.
Day 5 Hidden Canyon has this shear drop off where they give you a chain to aid you on the trail. Sandy was not feeling well so I hiked this trail alone. To get up to Hidden Canyon you must take the trail that leads up above the weeping wall.
Day 6 Inspiration Point
This is our last day. Since Sandy did not hike up Hidden Canyon we decided to do it again. I knew I would enjoy it a second time and I didn't want Sandy to miss it. But as we hiked up the switchbacks above the weeping wall we decided to bypass the turn off to HIdden Canyon and continue on to Inspiration Point. On the way to Inspiration Point we went through a section of Echo Canyon. It was a winner. If you don't have time to hike the 4 miles each direction with a elevation gain of 2300 feet you can stop about half way and spend a bunch of time exploring Echo Canyon.
