August 29,2010 we hiked around Paulina Lake which was a 7.5 mile hike. After hiking around the lake we drove up to Paulina Peak. Sandy’s feet started giving her problems. Both big toes developed blisters and had burst before it started bothering her. We learned two lessons from this. Keep your toenails trimmed and carry a small first aid kit so you’ll have Band-Aids to catch a blister as it begins. It wouldn’t hurt to have some moleskin to treat hot spots before they become blisters.
How to View the Pictures
Before clicking on one of the thumbnails to see the slides you should enlarge the window as much as possible. The function key F-11 should give you a full screen. Now click on the first thumbnail to start the pictures. When you hover over the lower center of the picture you will see the arrows to click on to go forward or back. I suggest you advance the pictures manually rather than pushing the center one for the slide show. That will give you time to view and read the captions. To cancel the full screen, push the F-11 key again.
